Your 2017-18 America East Predictions, Catamount Style (AKA an offseason sh*t post)

**These are your America East Predictions brought to you with help from actual quotes from Vermont fans.**

Projected Conference Standings

1. Vermont3-4 deep at PG and SG we are 3-4 deep at SF and we are 4-5 guys that can rotate for bigs. And the nice thing about it is that those players could be starters on other teams in the AE if they were not on UVMs squad because they are so skilled.

2-9. Who cares, they don't have a shot.

First Team

Anthony Lamb- Maxed out the leg press in the gym this offseason with the strength coach standing on it so he should be able to squat the four teammates on the floor with him while dunking over five defenders.

Trae Bell-Haynes- An excellent shooter who doesn't shoot because he's the only guard in the history of basketball who knows he can really fill it up but doesn't feel like it. Would start on every other America East team and is the best point guard in mid major basketball.

Ernie Duncan- Best shooter in Vermont history, but that's selling him short-- he's the best shooter in America East history.

Payton Henson- No one has actually made a ridiculous statement about him this offseason. Actually, you're off the first team Payton, you better get on the AE board and start spewing some gold.

Stef Smith/Everett Duncan- Easily replace whoever those guys were that helped TBH and Ernie on the perimeter last season. Smith is the point guard of the future, and the future is now. TBH is the point guard now, and there is no one better, making this all very confusing.

Samuel Dingba/Bailey Patella/Cam Ward/Ben Shungu/Skyler Nash- Part of that depth at the 2/3/4 positions that would start at every other America East school. Man did these guys choose the wrong program.

Ra Kpedi- A physical specimen who may redshirt because his body isn't college ready, but he would start at every other America East school. I'm just going to assume he's a shapeshifter at this point.

Second Team

There is no second team, this is Vermont.

Others To Consider

All future Vermont recruits who would obviously start at the other 8 America East schools this season.
