Albany (75) Marist (53) Quickie

* Disclaimer, I haven't watched the video yet

Where's The Love?

I'll admit it; I've gotten distracted, and I haven't called out enough announcers for doing the same. The 2015-16 season has been a team effort thus far and the floor general hasn't received enough love from me. I've heard multiple names mentioned as to who's been Albany's best player to this point, and his doesn't get brought up enough (and by enough I mean every time).

Evan Singletary, I apologize.

Season: (10 Games)
PPG: 14.3 (1)
MPG: 31.9 (1)
FG%: 45.7 (48 -105)
3P%: 40 (T3)
APG: 2.6 (2)

Singletary dropped 17 points (15 in the second half) on 6-11 shooting, including 3-5 from deep in 28 minutes against Marist.

Roll Tide

The Colonel celebrated his birthday by dropping 18 on 8-11 shooting, setting a new career high in FG's made. Ray Sanders also added 3 steals, 4 assists and 2 rebounds in the Albany win. Heck of a game for a young (old) man who just keeps producing.

Board Work

The Great Danes out-rebounded Marist 47-24 including 16-5 on the offensive end. Albany was led on the glass by Greig Stire who pulled down 14 rebounds including 5 offensive. Mike Rowley grabbed 11 of his own and a team high 7 on the offensive end. Joe Cremo would pull down 6, and Peter Hooley snatched 5 as the Albany guards did their part on the rebounding front.

Tale Of Two Halves

The first half wasn't pretty for Albany as they shot 16.7% (1-6) from three, and only went into the break with a 4 point lead. The perimeter shooting would get on track in the final 20 minutes as the Great Danes shot 71.4% (5-7) from deep; outscoring Marist 43-25 in the second half.

Albany would also up their overall field goal percentage in the second half as they shot 42.9% (12-28) before the break, and 55.2% (16-29) after halftime.
