#CAVS - 4 players, 2 in top 6
#GSW - 6 players, 4 in top 6
1) Lebron James
I'd write a bunch down but the stats speak for themselves. 40 points, 11 assists and 14 rebounds. The shooting percentage isn't elite (15-34, 44%) but it won't be this series since the King has no court. This was a nice bounce back from his 20 point 7-22 outing in game 4. Cleveland needs Lebron to take at least 30 shots a game for them to have a chance in the series. Only change I would have made is rather than LBJ taking the ball up the floor his first touch would have been on a post-up during most Cleveland possessions, with the smaller lineups for both Golden State and Cleveland on the floor.
2) Steph Curry
Steph Curry was pretty consistent throughout the game minus his third quarter. Curry would have 15 on 6-9 shooting at halftime, going 3-4 from three. Q3 Steph would slow a bit recording 5 points on 2-7 shooting including 1-4 from deep. Chef Curry was cooking in the fourth dropping 17 points on 5-7 shooting including 3-5 from deep and 4-4 from the free throw line. Curry would also end the night with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The depth of Golden State would be worthless without an elite closer on their team such as Steph Curry, just ask Atlanta.
3) Tristan Thompson
With Mozgov only playing nine minutes Thompson would provide Lebron with some post help. Thompson would finish with 19 points on 6-11 shooting and 7-10 from the free throw line. More important than his shooting or point total was Thompson's ability to continue to contribute on the boards, finishing with 10 rebounds including 5 offensive rebounds. Averaging 41 minutes over the last three games Thompson has given the Cavs more than they could have ever asked for minus Love in these finals.
4/5) Draymond Green & Andre Iguodala
Tough to differentiate between these two. Draymond was a big contributor scoring in the first quarter (4-7, 10 points) while Iguodala tallied 5 rebounds and 2 assists. By the end of the game Green would have 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists while Iggy would have 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Iguodala would probably get the nod over Green if he didn't shoot so poorly from the free throw line (2-11). Iggy continued to pester Lebron on the defensive end, creating contact without having fouls called on him.
6) Leandro Barbosa
In 17 minutes Barbosa dropped 13 points on 4-5 shooting while going 4-4 from the free throw line. The second quarter was Barbosa's time to shine as he went 3-3 from the field and 2-2 from the line finishing with 9 points in 9 minutes of action.
7) J.R. Smith
For a second in the first quarter it looked like it may have been one of those games for Smith as he dropped 8 points on 3-5 shooting including 2-4 from three. Instead Smith would cool off finishing the night with 14 points on 5-15 shooting including 4-14 from deep. Adding to his stat line Smith would gather 7 rebounds for Cleveland, however only 1 would come on the offensive end.
8) Harrison Barnes
Barnes would finish with 8 points on 3-7 shooting without attempting a three pointer. Adding to his stat line HB40 would bring down 10 rebound for the Warriors in their victory. Two of Barnes' three made baskets would come on monster dunks, those being more impressive than his stat line.
9) Klay Thompson
Klay still hasn't found his offensive game yet and that could be the scariest part about this series moving forward for Cleveland. Thompson would finish the night with 12 points on 5-14 shooting including 1-4 from deep.
10) Iman Shumpert
Shumpert had 10 points on 3-9 shooting with all three makes coming from beyond the three point line (3-6). Shump still hasn't looked comfortable in this series as he missed some easy bunnies after getting to the rim. It'll be interesting to see if he finds himself in game 6 and possibly game 7.
